Membership Registration

Our membership year is from September 01 to August 31, but we register new groups throughout the year. 

Your group must be registered 90 days in advance of the Annual General Meeting of any given year in order to have voting privileges at our Annual General Meeting. (as per the MAPC Constitution item 4.5 c). Only school based parent groups are permitted to vote at the Annual General Meeting. However, all members are invited to attend and may speak to have their questions and concerns addressed during the meeting. (as per the MAPC Constitution item 4.5 d).

For the 2017 - 2018 school year the Regular School Membership fee is only $80, Divisional Membership fee is only $70 per school (when all active parent groups within the school division apply), Association Membership fee is $70, and Individual or Community Memberships are $30.

2017 - 2018 Divisional Membership form (FOR USE BY SCHOOL DIVISION STAFF ONLY)

2017 - 2018 Regular School Membership form - ($80.00 per school parent group when joining individually OR $65.00 per school parent group if all active parent groups in your Division join as a Divisional Membership). Regular members are granted voting privileges at each AGM, provided they are a member in good standing (as per constitution).

2017 - 2018 Associate Membership form (Any association which feels that membership with MAPC would be beneficial to its organization and who pays the annual membership fee, is approved by the MAPC Board of Directors, and upholds the constitution and By-Laws of MAPC). Associate members are not granted voting privileges at the AGM.

2017 - 2018 Community Membership form (Community Member - Any member, without children in the school system. Each   member shall submit to the Association two letters of reference indicating that they feel the individual would represent the views of parents and uphold the Constitution and By-laws of the Association). Community members are not granted voting privileges at the AGM.

Please note - Only Regular School Members (as well as Divisional School Members) are entitled to vote.

Memberships received after February 2, 2018 are not eligible to vote at the MAPC AGM on May 5, 2018 . If you have any questions, please contact the MAPC office.
