cHAIRPERSONS' BREAKFAST 2012

The Chairpersons' Breakfast took place on January 21, 2012 with over 60 MAPC member school groups representing over 15 school divisions. Members actively particpated in the morning's events and engaged in some great networking opportunities. Many thanks to Evergreen School Division Superintendent, Paul Cuthbert for taking the time to join us and discuss the importance of parental engagement at a divisional level. MAPC Annual GENERAL MEETING AND CONFERENCE 2012

Save the date for Manitoba Association of Parent Councils Annual General Meeting and Conference on April 27 and 28, 2012 at the Victoria Inn and Conference Centre in Winnipeg. Visit the events page for registration information. Voting packages for MAPC members will be sent out in early March 2012.

PARENTAL ENGAGMENT SURVEY READY FOR DISTRIBUTION

The partnership between parents and the school their child attends is a very important one. It helps create respectful discussions and an effective school environment. The MAPC Parental Engagement Survey is designed to help us better understand the level of parental involvement both at school and at home. If you would like more information about distribution, timelines or would like to participate, please contact the MAPC office directly.
